The eighth biennial Pharmaceutical Industry Technology Event (ETIF) took recently took place in Buenos Aires, running from October 14th to October 17th, and for the first time the tradeshow was sponsored by PharmaBoardroom’s parent company, Focus Reports!

Beginning in 1998, ETIF has provided an exclusive venue for medical equipment and technology providers to interface with the Latin American pharmaceutical, biotech and veterinary business, and today is premier tradeshow for this category in South America. Also boasting a Technical-Scientific Congress featuring academic presentation from some of the industry’s most respected figures, ETIF also strives to give Life Science professionals an opportunity to broaden knowledge and learn from the innovations taking place at the cutting edge of the industry and the lessons learned from scenarios in countries across the region, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and of course Argentina. ETIF also launched the first Congress for the Manufacture of Veterinarian products with great success in 2013.

After PharmaBoardroom’s Argentina team met with ETIF President Victor Raineri and lead organizer Monica Onassis in August, a partnership between the two organizations was struck. In return for promoting ETIF 2014 on our website PharmaBoardroom.com, Focus Reports’ was listed as an official sponsor of the event, featuring in the event’s program booklets and on banners across the facility, and links to PharmaBoardroom were advertised on the event website. Focus Reports publisher Ines Nandin, on behalf of the entire company, expressed that was a great opportunity for Focus Reports to participate in an event which gathers players in the life science and medical equipment industry from across Latin America, and we will surely participate in the next ETIF in 2016.

For the future, ETIF looks forward to increasing coverage of the Venezuelan and Mexican markets, thereby expanding their coverage to include all of the major pharmaceutical producing countries in Latin America.
