MSD operates in Bulgaria for more than 20 years. Ever since, MSD Bulgaria is focused on providing access to innovative human and animal health solutions. We are concentrating efforts in the development of immuno-oncology – area with a potential for becoming not only a new paradigm in the treatment of cancer, but a new hope for patients to live longer and with better quality of life. As part of our longstanding leadership in infectious diseases, MSD Bulgaria collaborates with the scientific and patient communities to develop and deliver innovative solutions to support people living with chronic Hepatitis C and HIV. In terms of prophylaxis, MSD aims to increase population vaccine coverage and achieve the broadest possible access to our vaccines within a sustainable framework of bringing innovative vaccines that address important unmet health needs. Parallel to the focus on innovation, we continue to work on humanitarian campaigns to support maternal health care, following the belief that no mother should die giving birth. Expanding on CSR initiatives, each year, MSD Bulgaria employees donate hundreds of hours to help to improve the health and well-being of communities through a range of volunteer activities as per our global long-standing company policy.
