CEPHA s.r.o. – Center for Pharmacology and Analysis – is a full-service Contract Research Organization focused primarily on bioavailability and bioequivalence studies, and Phase I clinical trials. CEPHA was founded in 1992, and became into operation in early 1993. This year we proudly celebrate our 20th anniversary in clinical trials business. Our headquarters are located in Pilsen, Czech Republic, with the offices in Prague, Czech Republic and Aesch, Switzerland.
The entire clinical operations are performed in 2 clinical units with 36 standard beds and 6 hospital beds with total capacity of 42 beds. 36-bed clinical unit is designed specifically for conducting pharmacokinetic and BA/BE studies in healthy subjects while 6-bed Phase I unit is designed for Phase I clinical trials in patients and healthy volunteers. The bioassay is performed in our GLP-certified bioanalytical laboratory. Both clinic and laboratory facilities are located at our headquarters in Pilsen. It provides clients with comfort and efficiency of monitoring studies in single facility at convenient location with easy access from the Prague airport.
As a full service CRO we have expertise in study designing, study protocol writing, pharmacokinetics, statistics and regulatory affairs. Large pool of volunteers and excellent relationship with hospitals in the area allow rapid study start up.
