2015 marked further progress towards GSK´s strategy of creating a balanced Group of three world leading business in Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare. In the year, GSK completed a major 3-part transaction with Novartis and made good progress to integrate new businesses in Consumer Healthcare and Vaccines and restructure their Pharmaceuticals business. New product development is central to GSK’s global strategy. Last year, they generated £2 billion (2.67 billion USD) of sales from new products, higher than any other major pharmaceuticals group in terms of proportion to total sales.
GSK Switzerland employs around 140 employees with a focus on sales and marketing for Pharmaceuticals, ViiV Healthcare and Consumer Healthcare businesses.
