The Shared Services of the Ministry of Health (SPMS, EPE.) Was created in 2010 with the mission of centralizing the purchasing, financial management of human resources of the Ministry of Health. It would add the functions of management of information systems.
From this perspective, EPE is expected to play a leading role in the management of transversal processes of the organizations of the Ministry of Health that seek it in a context of administrative reform and modernization.
In the accomplishment of this design it accompanies the client organizations; and promotes best practices in the sector; develops and consolidates skills and identifies challenges in a context of health policy
