Sanofi Argentina consists of more than 900 employees located in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, with 850 of them in Argentina, which includes working groups from Sanofi Pharma, Sanofi Pasteur, Genzyme and Merial. The affiliate manages two industrial plants, one which distributes products globally for Sanofi Pasteur, and commercializes a diversified portfolio of medications, vaccines and innovative products in the local market. The firm is participating in a joint venture with national health authorities for the testing of possible useful drugs from Sanofi´s compound library for Chagas management, and manages several projects addressing nutritional problems for children and pregnant mothers and gaps in the treatment of childhood cancer.
