Angelini, a privately owned, international group, is a leader in the healthcare and wellbeing market in the pharmaceutical and mass-market sectors. Angelini was founded in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. Today, it is an international group with branches in 20 countries and worldwide product distribution. In the Pharmaceutical sector, Angelini focuses mainly on pain relief, inflammation, CNS, cold & flu, oral care and sore throat, gynaecology, disinfection. Angelini is one of the top four pharmaceutical companies in Italy by sales volume and leader in the self-medication sector. Thanks to a joint venture in the Personal care sector (Fater) with Procter & Gamble, Angelini is Italian market leader in the nappy, lady napkins and incontinence sectors with the brands Pampers, Lines, Linidor and Dignity. In the Machinery sector, once again in a joint venture with P&G, Angelini is world leader in the design and implementation of integrated production lines for the absorbent sanitary product industry (Fameccanica). The Angelini group is also involved in other sectors: dermocosmetics and personal care, perfumery, real estate, wine growing and agriculture. Guided by the President Francesco Angelini, the group employs about 5.000 people. In 2015 the consolidated turnover was over 1.500 billion Euros.
In Hungary, the company markets on the national territory prescription and OTC drugs and medical devices, and employees 24 people and, as a result of the increase of the market shares, the turnover is EUR 5.6M (2014).
The most important brands are Tantum Verde and Kitonail.
