Angelini is one of the leading Italian pharmaceutical companies. It has been operating in the field of manufacturing, marketing and distributing products for human health and wellbeing for nearly a hundred years. Angelini has facilities in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Its products are sold in over 60 countries, mainly in Eastern Europe, through a wide-ranging network of licensees.
The activities of Angelini began as a pharmaceutical company. Over the years, the company expanded and diversified into other sectors, ranging from personal hygiene to agri-food, from machine production to cosmetics and to real estate.
Today, the Angelini Group is a far-reaching and expanding enterprise in Italy and abroad, employing a workforce of over 3,000 people and comprising of 20 companies, either proprietary or in joint venture with leading multinational companies such as P&G and Phoenix.
The Angelini Group is organized into three divisions: pharmaceuticals, consumer products and machinery.
In 2003 the Group’s total annual revenue was approximately € 1.5 billion.
