Bene Farmacêutica is the Portuguese subsidiary of beneArzneimittel GmbH, Munich, which products are marketed in Portugal since 1961. In October 2009, Bene decided to establish its own operations in Portugal. In August 2010, Bene Farmacêutica began distributing its products.
The Management Team is composed of a group of experienced and skilled professionals. The in-house expertise includes Marketing and Sales, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, Finance, IT and HR.
The Best selling product of Bene Farmacêutica is Ben-u-ron, a branded paracetamol, the market leader in volume of the Portuguese pharmaceutical market. The current pipeline also includes analgesic and anti-inflammatory brands.
Through its nation-wide sales force, Bene Farmacêutica has already built a close relationship with physicians, pharmacists and nurses.
A strategic focus in Pain Management and developing a strong position near doctors and pharmacies have been the key factors in explaining the sales success of Bene Farmacêutica: company sales, domestic and abroad, have been steadily increasing since 2010.
