Bioceros B.V. is a privately owned biopharmaceutical company, which was founded in April 2003.
Bioceros is one of Europe’s premier providers of GMP-ready protein producing cell lines. Using our proprietary animal-component free, suspension CHO platform (named CHOBC®). Bioceros’ Cell Line Development capabilities are underscored by its nomination by DSM and Crucell as the first pre-approved European PER.C6® Cell Line Development partner. As of April 2012 Bioceros is entitled to develop cell lines based on the Potelligent® platform of BioWa (Princeton, USA). All the Cell Line Development work that we perform is Quality Controlled.
We have generated cell lines producing proteins ranging from blood proteins and monoclonal antibodies to fusion proteins. For monoclonal antibodies, our services start based on customers wishes, either with cDNA sequences to be expressed or by generation of antibodies in rodents, followed by cloning of the sequences from selected hybridoma’s. Further services include immunoassays, with a particular emphasis on cell based assays.
The people at Bioceros strongly believe that true and close collaboration speeds up selection and development of clients’ most viable drug candidates. Therefore, the programs are designed in a flexible way, and scientists and staff involved in the programs are easily approachable. In addition, due to low overhead cost, our prices are very competitive and our CHOBC® cell line is offered royalty-free.
Bioceros also exploits its validated technology platform and its extensive preclinical antibody development expertise to select and develop novel functional effective proprietary therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
Bioceros’ services include assay development and quantification, pre-clinical development, molecular biology, cell biology and immunology, protein expression in various systems, upscaling/fermentation, protein purification, and consulting services.
