A family owned business with an independent character
Our company was created in 1932 when Jean and Henri Boiron, entrepreneurs and scientists, began exploring the field of homeopathy.
In 2011, faithful to our values and history, we remain strongly attached to our status as an independent, family owned laboratory. It is a highly unusual position in today’s international pharmaceutical industry.
Thus, we remain the master of our strategic choices which we lead along with 4,000 persons, impassioned by our magnificent project.
Christian Boiron
General Manager
New outlooks for the future
Our medicines are safe and more than ever in line with healthcare needs. It is therefore an ethical duty to make homeopathy known as it becomes more and more efficient and used.
We are continuing our policy of innovation by further strengthening our research efforts: Today, 70 research programs are underway!
In addition, the growth that has characterized the last few years also requires major investments in our production facilities: 21 million euros were invested in 2009 at our main production sites, 18 million euros in 2010; and that trend will continue in 2011.
Faced with these challenges and the international development of the company, the entire senior management team is full of enthusiasm for the exciting years
