The Confederation of Portuguese Industry (CIP) MHMAIC is a Portuguese business confederation based in Lisbon, founded in May 1974.
It is CIP’s strategic mission to contribute to economic growth, business competitiveness, innovation, improved productivity, efficiency of justice and taxation, quality of vocational education and training, public expenditure containment intervention on other relevant topics such as energy, environment or corporate social responsibility. Equally important goals such as the modernization of the Public Administration, the adaptation of labor laws to new economic and social realities, social security legislation and the consolidation of the corporate associative network are also part of CIP’s strategic orientation, aiming to improve working conditions of economic agents.
