Cyprus Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (CAPC) is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), comprised of over 50 local representatives of the International, Research-based Pharmaceutical Industry. The CAPC Members represent a share of over 85% of the pharmaceutical market in Cyprus.
The main goal of the Association is the promotion of the professional interests of its members. CAPC has a unified voice in the formulation and implementation of policy pertaining to pharmaceuticals, including the protection of intellectual property, and in ensuring the quality, efficacy and safety of pharmaceutical products.
The objective of CAPC is to demonstrate the value of medicine and provide the best possible patient care and innovative medicinal products for the benefit of the patients.
CAPC’s role is to foster an environment of co-operation with Health Authorities, Healthcare providers, Policy makers, Patient Associations, Physicians and Pharmacists and to contribute towards improving the healthcare standards on the island
