Since its founding, Galenika ad has gone through several phases – from a Zemun based Belgrade drug manufacturer it had grown into one of the major pharmaceutical companies in former Yugoslavia, then one of the leaders in present Serbia, and it wishes to believe that it is today an internationally renowned company, employing over 2,700 workers. Galenika a.d., the first pharmaceutical plant in Serbia, founded in 1945, is one of the pharmaceutical leaders in the region.
Galenika is meeting its challenges daily through dedicated medical research, investing in its products, introducing innovations, all with an aim to improve the health of those who need Galenika most. Galenika a.d.’s product range includes over 250 products of various dosage forms, covering almost all pharmacological groups of drugs, OTC products, dental products, as well as veterinary products. Galenika’s production technologies are the result of its own research, as well as long-term cooperation with license partners Bristol Myers Squib, F. Hoffmann, La Roche, E. Lilly, Knoll AG, Abbott, Safina a.s., IHTM, NRK Inženjering d.o.o.
