GERS, or the Partnership to Collect and Prepare Statistics, is a quantitative surveys company dedicated to pharmaceutical field. GERS was created in 1974 on the initiative of pharmaceutical companies operating in France with a single objective: to provide decision makers and sales force teams with indicators measuring sales performance and markets potential. These numbers include both wholesale and direct sales to pharmacies and hospitals.
GERS offering has evolved overtime to include several kinds of data on the French pharmaceutical market. Due to the accuracy of this data, both the Ministry of Health and French drug-pricing committee (CEPS) use their findings. Moreover it is the data reference of choice for many companies operating in the French landscape.
