GP Farmasi is the National Association of Local Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Companies in Indonesia. It promotes the communication and consultation between the pharmaceutical entrepreneurs as well as between those entrepreneurs and the government or any stakeholder involved in drug production, drug distribution and drug services.
GP Farmasi was established on August 19th 1969 in Lembang, West Java by delegates representing the entire Indonesian pharmaceutical industry. It is a continuation of the previous organization Peers Pharmaceutical Association (GPS-Farmasi), which is in turn a continuation of the GAPERHARM Association, all of which are and were headquartered in Jakarta.
