Subsidiary Liability Company “INTERCHEM” was founded in 1992 by a group of young Doctors of Chemistry on the base of Odessa Physico-Chemical Institute named after Academician A.V.Bogatsky, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The Institute was one of the leaders in pharmaceutical chemistry in the USSR.
The main fields of the Company activities are the production of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (AFI’s) and medicines. “INTERCHEM” is a modern pharmaceutical “complete cycle” company: from the search and development of the original molecules to the selling of the dosages at the own pharmacies net. Production of the medicines has been certified for the conformity with GMP requirements.
“INTERCHEM” is one of the top 10 Ukrainian manufacturers of pharmaceutical goods. The backlog of the Company includes 4 original medicines. The recent product is an innovative soporific draught “Levana IC” which has been introduced to the market in 2012.
At the national rating “Panacea” “INTERCHEM” twice, in 2009 and in 2011, was awarded as the most dynamically growing national manufacturer, and the antiviral medicine “Amixin IC” was a leader in the nomination “The Medicine of Year” in 2008 and in 2011.
