After 25 years of manufacturing excellence, KPM ranks today as one of South East Asia’s leading producers of pharmaceutical products with best-selling brands i.e. over- the-counter (OTC) health supplements Appeton, nutriceutical beverage Booster, anti-fungal Creobic Cream and a comprehensive range of prescriptive products under Axcel and Vaxcel.
Kotra Pharma has invested substantially in building the Appeton brand name over the last eight years. It has been the strategic approach to register a range of healthcare products under the ‘Appeton’ brand name that will cater to the needs of the whole family, i.e. from pre-natal development needs right to geriatric needs. Kotra Pharma has also carved its own niche in children’s health supplement via the Appeton brand name.
A total of 21 Appeton products have been developed and these products will from the flagship for the Kotra Pharma’s initial export drive.
Axcel
Kotra Pharma’s prescribed range of pharmaceutical generic medicine is marketed under the Axcel brand name. The types of prescribed drugs manufactured by Kotra Pharma under Axcel consist of 22 therapeutic classes.
Vaxcel
All sterile pharmaceutical products manufactured by Kotra Pharma are marketed under the brand name Vaxcel. These include eye drops, surgical lubricating gel and small volume injectables. Due to the intended use of these products, the manufacturing process is strictly in accordance to the Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines from the Drug Control Authority under the Ministry of Health.
