Company info

The Medical Devices Cluster was established in 2000 under the sponsorship of the Puerto Rico Technoeconomic Corridor (PRTEC). The MD Cluster integrates medical device manufacturers, providers, and related institutions to develop strategies and foster synergies that will enhance the cluster members’ business environment. The activities of the MD Cluster are divided into 4 working groups: the Regulatory and Compliance team, Benchmark team, Process & Product Development team, and the Supply Chain team.

The MD Cluster helps the local MD companies identify common goals, needs, concerns, and requirements to make them more competitive in short and long terms. It brings the academia, government, and MD companies together, and encourage them to have an integrated Strategic plan. Its goal is to strengthen people’s skills and capabilities for future changing technologies.

The MD cluster fosters links and alliances with other associations, industrial groups, and government agencies that enhance our local business operations. It also enables and promotes quality Supply Chain for raw materials and services that are reliable and cost efficient.
