The Top 20 pharma companies in France, ranked by total turnover at ex-manufacturer prices for 2018. Swiss giant Novartis is in first place with a EUR 2.6 billion turnover, a full 89 percent of which came from the retail market. In second place is local champion Sanofi with a turnover of EUR 1.7 billion, followed by generics specialists Mylan with EUR 1.6 billion.
