Janet McDougall, president and founder of McDougall Scientific and John Amrhein, vice president in charge of business development, discuss the challenges that SME CROs are facing in Canada today, competing with the CRO giants, but also highlight the unique differentiation points McDougall Scientific is able to put forward, such as their core activity as statisticians, a service much in demand today. Janet, you founded McDougall Scientific over 30 years ago, when regulations for human research were still in their infancy. What drove you to found the company in 1984?
