Liu Zhanbin, the chairman of Chinese generics maker Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Sanjing Pharmaceutical, committed suicide Sunday, according to a statement from the company that was obtained by <em>Bloomberg</em>. Local officials were investigating him for possible corruption, according to <em>Bloomberg</em>.
