Daiichi Sankyo, founded in 2006 by the merger of Japanese companies Daiichi and Sankyo in Europe, is a global pharmaceutical group with over 100 years of scientific research behind it and a presence in over 20 countries worldwide. In Italy the company has extensive commercial and research operations, with a turnover of 67 million euros in 2015. The country is seen as a growth driver for the group in Europe.
