In France, the ACOSS (central agency of social security funds) is in charge of the social security general scheme’s cash operations.
It manages the The Union of Social Security contribution and family benefit collection organizations which collect social contributions. In 2014 it • managed 9.6 million contributor accounts • collected 474.4 billion euros in revenues • Its general scheme consolidated products totalled 334 billion euros.
