1. Are there proposals for reform or significant change to the healthcare system?
Amendments to the Pricing Principles for Medicinal products
The Ministry of Health is preparing a draft project for amendments to the Cabinet Regulation No. 803,” Regulations Regarding the Principles for the Determination of the Price of Medicinal Products” where it is planned to introduce changes to the principles of setting medicinal product prices (i.e., mark-ups).
2. When are they likely to come into force?
Pricing principles – as of now the deadline set by the Ministry of Health is 30 October 2022, however, this deadline may change.
